Here's how a typical class works, from arrival to finished canvas.
You'll arrive at AlmaDose Denver and check in with our team. First-time guests complete a brief safety screening. Returning guests check in and get settled at their painting station. All supplies are provided: canvas, brushes, paints, and anything else you'll need.
Before painting begins, you'll receive a sub-perceptual dose of psilocybin. It's a small amount, enough to gently enhance creativity and loosen things up without producing a psychedelic effect. The facilitator will walk you through what to expect and answer any questions.
An instructor guides the group through a painting, step by step. You can follow along, go your own direction, or throw the instructions out entirely. There's no wrong way to do this. The goal is to enjoy the process, not to produce a masterpiece.
When brushes go down, you'll have time to look at what everyone made, hang out with the group, and enjoy the space before heading home. You take your painting with you.
