Screening Process
Before your first session, we conduct a thorough intake process. This includes a detailed questionnaire and a phone conversation with one of our facilitators.
We review your medical history, current medications, mental health background, and personal circumstances. This isn't about gatekeeping — it's about ensuring psilocybin is appropriate for you at this time.
Some conditions may require additional consultation with your healthcare provider. In some cases, we may recommend waiting or exploring other modalities first. We'll always be honest with you about our assessment.
Contraindications
Psilocybin is not appropriate for everyone. We do not serve individuals with:
• Personal or family history of psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder) • Current mania or active bipolar episodes • Certain cardiac conditions • Pregnancy or nursing • Current use of lithium or certain other medications
This list is not exhaustive. Our intake process will identify any concerns and we'll discuss them openly with you.
Our Dosage Philosophy
We believe in informed, intentional dosing. There's no "standard" dose that works for everyone, and more is not always better.
Our facilitators will educate you about different dose ranges and their typical effects. We'll discuss your intentions and help you choose a dose that aligns with your goals and comfort level.
We never pressure higher doses. Your experience, your choice.

Legal Status
Alma Dose operates in full compliance with Colorado Proposition 122 and subsequent state regulations regarding natural medicine.
All guests must be 21 years of age or older. All sessions take place in our licensed facility. We maintain all required documentation and operate transparently within the law.
